Hong Kong Public Company
March 1, 2016
We have talked a lot about private companies in Hong Kong but what about public companies? Read our post about the requirements and fees of a public company in Hong Kong.
There is not much difference between private and public limited company. However, the requirements for setting up a public company are slightly different:
– it requires at least 2 natural person directors
– it can have more than 50 shareholders
– the NAR1 fee is HKD 140
– it is only required to provide the particulars of members who held 5% or more of the issued shares in any class of the company’s shares as at the date of the return
The NNC1 fee is the same HKD 1740 + BRC HKD 2250= HKD 3970
